The Company recognises the importance of the principles of good corporate governance and the Board is pleased to report its continued commitment to such high standards throughout the year. As an AiM listed company, Sportingbet is not required to follow the provisions of the 2003 FRC Combined Code (the “Code”) as set out in the Financial Services Authority Listing Rules. Nonetheless, the Company voluntarily complies, as far as possible, with the principles referred to in Section 1 of the Code.
The Board is accountable to the Company’s shareholders for good governance and the statement set out below describes how the principles identified in the Code are applied by the Group.
