Founded in 1948, Estudiantes are one of the most-recognised basketball sides in Spain.

They have won the Spanish basketball cup three times, the last time being in 2000, and in 1992 they got to the Final Four of the Euroleague competition in Istanbul.

They play in the ACB league, Spain’s top division.
